You will need to have the following information on hand: Your Hooksett Library card number, contact info, expected attendance, date and time of your event, the room being requested, event description, and what (if any) equipment you may need for your meeting. You will also need to complete a Meeting Room Agreement form and agree to terms therein.

I’m trying to login, but it keeps asking for a password. I don’t think I set one up.

How far in advance can I reserve a room?

In order to serve the needs of the many individuals, groups and organizations in Hooksett, some reasonable limits are in place to make the rooms as accessible as possible. For this reason, same day reservations are permitted, but reservations cannot be made beyond a 90-day period, unless granted permission by the Director. Exceptions to this are Hooksett community organizations for whom the Library is their home meeting location: the Hooksett Garden Club, the Hooksett Historical Society, the Hooksettites, the Hooksett Lions Club, and Hooksett Heritage Commission.

Reading Apps

You can find detailed instructions for getting started with these apps on HooksettLibrary.org under the “Download” navigation bar.

Libby (from Overdrive and NH Downloadable Books & the State Library) or CloudLibrary (just for Hooksett and GMILCS patrons!)*

*Many of you are already familiar with Libby because she’s so popular, but now is the perfect time to get acquainted with CloudLibrary because the holds lists are often much shorter!

If you see extensive hold lists in Libby, please visit hooksettlibrary.org/suggest-purchase and complete the form, and we will review purchasing an additional copy for our patrons only, pending the price of the title.
