It depends on who you are and the type of event. Hooksett residents, local organizations, town/government agencies, and NH Library groups and associations can use the meeting rooms for free for regular meetings. Non-residents will be responsible for a rental fee based on the room and length of use (see table below). Private personal events (like birthday parties or baby showers) always include a fee and cleanup fee (see table below) and require special approval from the Library Director.
| Room | Rate (1st 2 hours) | Each Additional Hour |
|---|---|---|
| Lilac Bridge Room | $30 | $15 |
| Prescott Library Room | $30 | $15 |
| Hebert Room | $75 | $25 |

No renewals are needed at this time. We have set our system to automatically renew any items that are out, and we will not be charging overdue fees while our building is closed.

Yes, we accept book donations during the Library's open hours. Please note that we only accept gently used books that are in sellable condition. You can find detailed instructions for getting started with these apps on HooksettLibrary.org under the “Reading” menu on the navigation bar.
Digital books and magazines are available through the Libby app. Digital books (excluding magazines) can also be accessed via the CloudLibrary app, which is exclusively available to Hooksett and GMILCS patrons.
*Many of you are already familiar with Libby because she’s so popular, but now is the perfect time to get acquainted with CloudLibrary because the holds lists are often much shorter!
