In order to serve the needs of the many groups in Hooksett, limits are placed on the use of the meeting rooms. Although same day reservations are permitted, reservations cannot be made beyond a 90-day period, unless granted permission by the Director. Exceptions to this are Hooksett community organizations for whom the Library is their home meeting location: the Hooksett Garden Club, Hooksett Historical Society, Hooksettites, Hooksett Lions Club, and Hooksett Heritage Commission.

You will also need to complete a Meeting Room Agreement form and agree to terms therein.

After-hours use of meeting rooms requires approval and provision for an alarm code arranged in advance by the meeting room contact person. Otherwise, all members of the group must exit the Library by closing time. The meeting room contact person will be responsible for clearing the room at the end of the meeting.

Reading Apps

You can find detailed instructions for getting started with these apps on HooksettLibrary.org under the “Download” navigation bar.

Libby (from Overdrive and NH Downloadable Books & the State Library) or CloudLibrary (just for Hooksett and GMILCS patrons!)*

*Many of you are already familiar with Libby because she’s so popular, but now is the perfect time to get acquainted with CloudLibrary because the holds lists are often much shorter!

If you see extensive hold lists in Libby, please visit hooksettlibrary.org/suggest-purchase and complete the form, and we will review purchasing an additional copy for our patrons only, pending the price of the title.

I’m trying to login, but it keeps asking for a password. I don’t think I set one up.
